Desde un punto de vista meramente humano, hubiera sido m\u00e1s l\u00f3gico que Dios hubiera escogido otro pueblo para el nacimiento del Mes\u00edas.<\/p>\n<p>Pero Dios sab\u00eda muy bien lo que quer\u00eda. Escogi\u00f3 la tribu de Jud\u00e1, los jud\u00edos, y de esa tribu, escogi\u00f3 la casa de David. Dios hab\u00eda insistido en que, por medio de David y sus descendientes, el cetro de rey y el poder de gobernar, nunca se apartar\u00edan de la tribu de Jud\u00e1.<\/p>\n<p>La profec\u00eda relatada en la lectura de hoy tiene pleno cumplimiento en la persona de Jesucristo, nacido de la casa de David como el Rey-Mes\u00edas.<\/p>\n<p>Dios no s\u00f3lo sab\u00eda lo que quer\u00eda; tambi\u00e9n sab\u00eda lo que estaba haciendo. Estaba dando a entender que solamente \u00c9l era Dios. \u00c9l no ten\u00eda que apoyarse en ej\u00e9rcitos poderosos para vencer el mal en el mundo. No ten\u00eda que recurrir a la sabidur\u00eda del mundo para difundir su verdad. Tampoco ten\u00eda que depender de ning\u00fan gobierno humano para establecer la justicia y la paz. Dios hizo presente su poder salvador en un ni\u00f1o jud\u00edo, Jesucristo: un acto que parece debilidad a los ojos de los poderosos de este mundo. Dios hizo lo que hizo como una se\u00f1al de que nosotros alcanzamos la salvaci\u00f3n no por medio de nuestros propios esfuerzos humanos, sino por su don gratuito en Cristo Jes\u00fas.<\/p>\n<p>Ninguna sabidur\u00eda humana, ning\u00fan poder humano puede suplantar a Dios. As\u00ed pues, es justo y necesario que alabemos s\u00f3lo a Dios, la obra de nuestra salvaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mt 1, 1-17<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>San Mateo inicia su Evangelio con la Genealog\u00eda de Cristo para indicarnos que \u00c9l es el Mes\u00edas anunciado desde Abraham y que es verdaderamente humano.<\/p>\n<p>Cada periodo de 14 a\u00f1os nos presenta una etapa de la historia de la salvaci\u00f3n en medio de la cual Dios fue construyendo esta misma historia. Dios se mete en nuestra historia de manera total, se hace hombre, se encarna para tomar parte de las realidades humanas (menos del pecado) y desde ah\u00ed proponer un estilo de vida.<\/p>\n<p>Jes\u00fas no fue una teor\u00eda sino una instrucci\u00f3n pr\u00e1ctica del amor de Dios. Dios est\u00e1 en nuestra historia personal. El problema es que algunos no le permitimos actuar con libertad y por ello nuestra vida se complica. Dios no es una idea es una persona encarnada, por ello el cristianismo no es una filosof\u00eda sino un estilo de vida.
