Is 42, 1-7; Jn 12, 1-11<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

En el evangelio de hoy san Juan hace una de sus pocas referencias cronol\u00f3gicas.  Hace notar que la unci\u00f3n tuvo lugar \u00abseis d\u00edas antes de la Pascua\u00bb.  <\/strong>Este era el d\u00eda en que los jud\u00edos deb\u00edan conseguir el cordero que iban a comer en la cena pascual, y lo conservaban hasta el d\u00eda anterior a la Pascua, en que lo mataban a la hora del crep\u00fasculo (Ex 12,12).  La cena de Pascua era una conmemoraci\u00f3n de los acontecimientos salvadores del \u00c9xodo.  A los israelitas del tiempo del \u00c9xodo se les orden\u00f3 que untaran con la sangre del cordero el dintel y las jambas de las puertas de sus casas.  A la medianoche, el \u00e1ngel del Se\u00f1or acabar\u00eda con todos los primog\u00e9nitos de los egipcios, pero al ver la sangre en el dintel y en las jambas de las puertas, pasar\u00eda de largo frente a las casas de los israelitas.  Ellos se salvaron por la sangre del cordero.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Parecer\u00eda que, de alguna manera, en la mente de san Juan la unci\u00f3n de Jes\u00fas era su propia selecci\u00f3n y preparaci\u00f3n para ser el cordero pascual cristiano.  Ciertamente la sangre de Cristo es la que nos salva del pecado.  Antes de la comuni\u00f3n, escuchamos estas palabras: \u00abEste es el Cordero de Dios, que quita el pecado del mundo\u00bb.  <\/strong>Como verdadero cordero pascual, Jes\u00fas es el cumplimiento de todos aquellos a\u00f1os de promesas y preparaci\u00f3n del Antiguo Testamento.  Un siglo tras otro, Dios condujo pacientemente a su pueblo hacia los grandes acontecimientos que volvemos a vivir esta semana en la liturgia.  No miramos hacia el futuro, como hicieron los jud\u00edos; nosotros tenemos el privilegio de compartir directa y personalmente los misterios de salvaci\u00f3n de Jesucristo, el Cordero que quita los pecados del mundo.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
