Mt 1, 18-24<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Si ayer San Mateo nos presentaba los antepasados de Jes\u00fas, hoy nos acerca a contemplar los protagonistas de su nacimiento: Jos\u00e9, Mar\u00eda y el actor principal: el Esp\u00edritu Santo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dios para realizar sus planes de amor y liberaci\u00f3n se sirve de personas muy concretas, sencillas, que cumplen su voluntad, a veces de manera misteriosa. Jos\u00e9 aparece aqu\u00ed como el hombre de fe humilde y de obediencia confiada. Si \u00e9l ofrec\u00eda la bendici\u00f3n otorgada por la genealog\u00eda desde Abraham hasta Jacob, padre de Jos\u00e9, es a Mar\u00eda por obra del Esp\u00edritu Santo a quien se le da la bendici\u00f3n de engendrar al Mes\u00edas. Dios act\u00faa en la peque\u00f1ez y debilidad humana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mar\u00eda y Jos\u00e9 en medio de sus dificultades propias, dan un \u201cs\u00ed\u201d como respuesta a la propuesta de Dios. Parecer\u00eda muy peque\u00f1a su aportaci\u00f3n, pero es la aportaci\u00f3n de los humildes la que hace posible la actualizaci\u00f3n y realizaci\u00f3n de la obra de la salvaci\u00f3n. As\u00ed Dios, por estas respuestas misteriosas, confiadas y llenas de fe, inicia por obra del Esp\u00edritu Santo, la plenitud de la salvaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Por otra parte, tanto en la primera lectura de Isa\u00edas, como en este pasaje, se ofrecen diversos nombres que nos indican la misi\u00f3n del Mes\u00edas. Isa\u00edas nos dice que se le llamar\u00e1: \u201cEl Se\u00f1or es nuestra justicia\u201d, por otra parte, San Mateo nos dice que le pondr\u00e1n por nombre Jes\u00fas porque \u201c\u00c9l salvar\u00e1 a su pueblo de sus pecados\u201d, y retoma la profec\u00eda de Isa\u00edas donde se afirma que se le dar\u00e1 el nombre de Emmanuel que quiere decir \u201cDios con nosotros\u201d. \u00bfContradicci\u00f3n? De ninguna forma, el nombre dado distintamente en cada momento, nos se\u00f1ala cada uno de ellos diferentes atributos del Mes\u00edas, reflejan la gran misi\u00f3n y la tarea que viene a realizar en cada uno de nosotros el Mes\u00edas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hoy necesitamos este Mes\u00edas que nos ofrezca su justicia, que nos traiga la salvaci\u00f3n y que nos haga sentir su presencia en medio de nosotros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Que hoy contemplando la misi\u00f3n de Mar\u00eda y Jos\u00e9, y los diferentes nombres del Mes\u00edas, tambi\u00e9n nosotros revisemos cu\u00e1l es nuestra relaci\u00f3n con el Salvador y cu\u00e1l es nuestra misi\u00f3n y la tarea en nuestro mundo actual.
