Juan 15, 18-21<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Se ha hecho proverbial la sentencia del Se\u00f1or cuando dice que \u00abel siervo no puede ser superior a su se\u00f1or\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Y si al Se\u00f1or (\u00abque acaba de lavar los pies a sus disc\u00edpulos\u00bb) el mundo le ha odiado hasta llevarle a la cruz por \u00abpasar haciendo el bien\u00bb, a sus seguidores les suceder\u00e1 lo mismo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El mundo que vive tranquilo en su oscuridad, no puede soportar el escozor de la luz que proviene de Cristo-Jes\u00fas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Por eso, cuando el ciego de nacimiento fue iluminado por la fe en Cristo, se le expuls\u00f3 de la sinagoga porque confes\u00f3 que Jes\u00fas era Hijo de Dios; y cuando los Ap\u00f3stoles iluminados por la luz del Esp\u00edritu en Pentecost\u00e9s, proclaman a voz en grito el mensaje de salvaci\u00f3n, ser\u00e1n perseguidos porque se han salido de las normas del mundo y viven bajo la luz de Dios.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El odio existente en el mundo es la ant\u00edtesis del amor expresado por el Evangelio de Jes\u00fas. El evangelio de hoy nos dice claramente lo que cada d\u00eda estamos experimentando y ya lo estaba viviendo la comunidad cristiana del evangelista Juan: aquellos que vivan bajo la luz del evangelio sufrir\u00e1n incomprensi\u00f3n y persecuci\u00f3n de los que viven en la oscuridad de los criterios de este mundo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El evangelio da un gran salto. Un trasvase transcendental, cultural… Pasa por vez primera de Asia a Europa. En el a\u00f1o 49 d.C. Pablo visita la antigua ciudad de Ne\u00e1polis. Actualmente se llama Kavala. Es una populosa ciudad marinera, que recuerda a cualquiera de nuestras ciudades ba\u00f1adas por la cultura y el agua del Mediterr\u00e1neo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Una peque\u00f1a iglesia ortodoxa conmemora el evento. El evangelio se abre paso, traspasa fronteras, naciones, tierra y mar, se hace universal porque el Esp\u00edritu Santo no deja de empujar a la Iglesia y porque hay tambi\u00e9n ap\u00f3stoles valientes, que se atreven a dar el salto, es decir, que est\u00e1n atentos a escuchar la voz de los m\u00e1s pobres, que hoy como ayer siguen gritando al coraz\u00f3n: \u00abVen y ay\u00fadanos\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
