Hace algunos d\u00edas&nbsp;unos ni\u00f1os me preguntaban que si un hombre puede vivir en el vientre de una ballena. Mucho m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de los simbolismos que utiliza este breve librito contiene un profundo significado: un Dios misericordioso que llama a la conversi\u00f3n y que est\u00e1 dispuesto a otorgar el perd\u00f3n a un pueblo que muestra su coraz\u00f3n contrito.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jon\u00e1s se opon\u00eda a predicar la conversi\u00f3n y decide por su cuenta ir por otros lugares. Pero los planes del Se\u00f1or son ofrecer la salvaci\u00f3n. Finalmente Jon\u00e1s, aunque obligado, predica la conversi\u00f3n y para su sorpresa se convierte en signo de salvaci\u00f3n para aquel pueblo que con su rey y todos sus habitantes se entregan a la penitencia y a la conversi\u00f3n. Jon\u00e1s, profeta desconocido en N\u00ednive, se hab\u00eda convertido en se\u00f1al del perd\u00f3n de Dios.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El reclamo de Jes\u00fas es que la generaci\u00f3n que ahora lo escucha no es capaz de descubrir en \u00c9l el signo de la misericordia de Dios. Ha predicado desde el inicio de su ministerio y ahora aquella generaci\u00f3n sigue exigiendo signos y se\u00f1ales. \u00bfNo nos pasar\u00e1 a nosotros algo semejante? \u00bfCu\u00e1nto caso hacemos a las llamadas de conversi\u00f3n que hemos escuchado del mismo Jes\u00fas?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hay quien se atreve a pedir se\u00f1ales y signos que le \u201cobliguen\u201d a la conversi\u00f3n, pero ah\u00ed est\u00e1 la vida y la predicaci\u00f3n de Jes\u00fas que nos habla del Padre Misericordioso, que nos ofrece las par\u00e1bolas del perd\u00f3n, que con im\u00e1genes y se\u00f1ales nos manifiesta que no ha venido a condenar al pecador sino a llamarlo a conversi\u00f3n y nosotros \u00bfseguiremos sordos? \u00bfNos pasar\u00e1 lo mismo que aquella generaci\u00f3n que Jes\u00fas llama perversa?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El Papa Francisco se ha empe\u00f1ado en mostrarnos este rostro misericordioso de Dios y la necesidad de conversi\u00f3n.
