Un \u201chombre rico\u201d, sin nombre, y un mendigo llamado L\u00e1zaro. El rico \u201cbanqueteaba espl\u00e9ndidamente cada d\u00eda\u201c. Por contraste, L\u00e1zaro pasaba hambre todos los d\u00edas y no le permit\u00edan comer de lo que tiraban de la mesa del rico. Al morir, el rico va al infierno donde sufre fuertes tormentos. En cambio, L\u00e1zaro es recibido en el seno de Abrah\u00e1n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El rico pide a Abrah\u00e1n que deje ir a L\u00e1zaro a la tierra para que avise a sus hermanos, cambien de conducta y no caigan como \u00e9l en el infierno. Sabemos la repuesta de Abrah\u00e1n: \u201cTienen a Mois\u00e9s y a los profetas que los escuchen\u201d, que dicen con claridad cu\u00e1l debe ser la conducta de un buen jud\u00edo, porque si no les hacen caso a ellos tampoco escucharan a L\u00e1zaro resucitado. Nuestra suerte eterna va a depender de nuestra conducta en este mundo y\u2026 de la siempre poderosa misericordia de Dios.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yendo m\u00e1s all\u00e1 del rico y de L\u00e1zaro, nos preguntamos qu\u00e9 nos pide Jes\u00fas a los que queremos ser sus seguidores en 2023. Jes\u00fas en la \u00faltima cena, despu\u00e9s de lavar los pies a sus ap\u00f3stoles, les dijo: \u201c\u00bfEntend\u00e9is lo que he hecho con vosotros? Vosotros me llam\u00e1is Maestro y Se\u00f1or, dec\u00eds bien, porque de verdad lo soy. Si yo, os he lavado los pies siendo vuestro Se\u00f1or y Maestro, tambi\u00e9n hab\u00e9is de lavaros vosotros unos a otros. Porque yo os he dado ejemplo para que vosotros hag\u00e1is como yo he hecho\u201d.
