La gran obra de la Salvaci\u00f3n estaba a punto de cumplirse. Jes\u00fas se dirige al Padre y va enumerando todo lo que ha hecho para, al final, encomendarnos a \u00c9l cuando ya no est\u00e9 entre nosotros. Es como una oraci\u00f3n \u00edntima y profunda entre ambos, Padre e Hijo. Jes\u00fas \u00abda cuenta\u00bb de su labor, al mismo tiempo que pide por nosotros y por \u00c9l mismo: \u00ab&#8230;te ruego por ellos&#8230; por \u00e9stos que T\u00fa me diste\u00bb&#8230;\u00bbPadre, glorif\u00edcame cerca de ti\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Visto con nuestros ojos este momento tan \u00edntimo de Jes\u00fas con el Padre es como un examen de conciencia, como una rendici\u00f3n de cuentas en la que vemos que ha cumplido punto por punto la tarea que le fue encomendada. Y as\u00ed nosotros deber\u00edamos hacer lo mismo cada d\u00eda, en cada momento importante de nuestra vida, cada vez que sentimos la necesidad de ver hasta donde hemos llegado y por donde debemos continuar. Todos tenemos una misi\u00f3n encomendada seg\u00fan nuestras circunstancias y nuestras posibilidades. Al igual que Jes\u00fas debemos decirle al Padre como vamos, qu\u00e9 hemos hecho, qu\u00e9 nos falta y qu\u00e9 necesitamos. Es una antigua costumbre que al final del d\u00eda nos tomemos unos minutos de oraci\u00f3n para repasar la jornada ante los ojos de Dios. Os aseguro que es muy bueno hacerlo, nos ayuda a seguir adelante y a renovarnos. No teng\u00e1is duda de que el Esp\u00edritu Santo nos asiste y nos gu\u00eda como hizo con San Pablo.
